The Aspen Institute Internship Program
Interns will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments in support of our activities. They will be paired with a member of the Aspen team to whom they will report directly. Interns should expect to assist Program Managers in the planning and implementation of various projects and programs, such as roundtables and conferences. Further, they will be responsible for administrative tasks, organization, and any necessary research.
Special preference will be given to qualified Ph.D. candidates and MA students with a background in international relations, political science, economics, journalism, and business. College seniors with demonstrated work experience coupled with research experience may also apply. English language proficiency and excellent computer skills are required. Additional European languages, particularly German, are an advantage. Interns are expected to commit for at least 3 months, and the internships are unpaid.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please submit a detailed CV and a cover letter outlining what you expect to gain from the internship and what you can contribute to the institute's work. Please make sure to indicate clearly from what date on and for how long you would be available. Please note that we are unable to return any application documents sent to us. Please submit your application and any questions you might have to:
